Live aus Berlin (part IV): Sun children... in the snow!

So here I am with more Berlin pictures! This belongs to our Monday, a day that we spent shopping and having fun around Prenzlauer Breg and the city center of Berlin. We had vintage shopping, ate a delicious burguer, went to Ben Sherman's store (where I bought some things, as my new grey and black coat), after that, we went to the Checkpoint Charlie and finally, we had dinner in a lovely restaurant with Stefano and my cousin Rocío... and of course, que made our photomaton pictures!

Live aus Berlin (part I)

So... we're back from Berlin!! It's been a lovely time thare, woth snow and cold but not the cold I was expecting... I can't believe I'm back to Barcelona! it was so awesome... I don't know where to start!

So I guess that the best thing is start from the begining...

Germany is totally different to Spain. I was completely captivated, and I cannot help getting excited when I think I'll come back, maybe in spring or early summer. In fact I'm seriously considering spending the summer there, I'm sure is that's wonderful experience ...
I mean, I'm sure Berlin has its good and its bad things, but I definitely want to live in this town for a while and experience being a real "European", live a different culture from mine, which promotes recycling, Vegetarian food and social projects ...

Anyway, we arrived to Schönefeld airport on friday, and we get the tickets to the SBahn, just for going into the Ostkreuz station at Berlin, where my cousin Rocío was waiting for us with little Kora, her dog!

Laia and Albert at the train.

Tschüs!

So tomorrow is the big day! At 16:00 pm we're off to Berlin!! Laia, Albert and I are so happy and excited about this... yaw!! I can't believe that the day is almost here!!

Finally we're staying at my friend George's house, at Sewanstrasse... oh, my, I'm so happy about it! I haven't see him in ages!

So, before we leave... remember I asked you about some tips for the cold and recomendations about Berlin? Here they are!

Laia and I made a very similar post, so we're sharing all the answers you gave us... thank you!!

Rude girls, don't love a rudie!

I think that is not something strange that the mods evolved into the skins. I mean, the depression of the country and the change of the style, perfectly normal in any fashion style; provided the perfect emergence for the rude boys (maybe the parents of the skins culture). The clothes change, the attitude changes... but, what about the girls?

Poupée de Son...

I don't know why, but I can't stop listening to french music... specially France Gall!

Images: weheartit

... and it's weird, because France Gall never was one of my favourite french singers!

Anyway, remember what I told you a few days before about the buttons on my sidebar? Well, here's mine... who wants to share buttons?

The HTML code is:
<a href="http://http//sahakiel.blogspot.com/"><img src="http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t69/Fairyofthenightmares/Blog/Botn04.jpg" /></a>

The button is 150x150 px... do you like it?

Ah, I'm so exited about our Berlin's trip...! If you've been there... have you got any advice for us? What clothes should we get there? Any recomendation (places, museums, shops)...?

Only one week!

The songs we used to sing...

2009 was a year full of great inspiration for me. As you may know, one of my sources of inspiration is music, I think the biggest one... and since I blog, there are some lovely bloggers that I really feel like they're muses for me... Here I want to share some of the people and things which inspired me last year and would be inspiring me this year...

A part of the weekend that never dies...

Hello everybody and thanks for your lovely comments on my last post! How many wonderful words, yaw! I'm glad that your NYE were lovely too!

Tomorrow here in Spain it's the night of the Magi. Here in Spain we don't share our Christmas' presents until the 6 of January, because it is suposse that on the night between the 5th and the 6th of January, three Magi from the East came into Belen, just for sharing their love and present with Jesus... so traditional here! The pity is that in almost all Spain is raining, so maybe the party for tomorrow would be a little bit wet!

Anyway, did you had fun last weekend? Mine was quite good; on saturday I had dinner with my cousin Rocio, who is at Berlin this year (and who I'll be visiting in a few days there!!); Rose, Jose, Godino, Alfonso, Paula, Manolo and Angie... we went to a italian restaurant just in front of my home, called "La Tentazione"... so delicious!!

Angie and Manolo

Godino and Rocío

Alfonso and Paula

We're a happy family!

Godino eating his saldad with bread sticks..

My pasta!Stuffed with pear and goat sheese sauce!

After dinner we went to E Trocadero, a very nice pub where we always drin Paulaner, our favourite beer!

And at 3:00 am we decided to go into La Vaguada, the rock pub from Algeciras, where we met Miguel Luis... he was at Berlin for NYE but now he's back, cool!

Rose with her Blanco's dress

Me with Rose's Stradivarius dress... I love it!!

Dress - Stradivarius
Tights - Calzedonia
Shoes - Offbrand
Totebag - Blanco (old)

It was quite funny because Jairo was all night saying that Rose and I looked as Velma and Daphne from the Scooby Doo series! I love this kind of dresses, I don't mind looking retro!! That's why today I bought a retro fabric for making a dress like the blue one!

And on Sunday I went to the mall just for buying my last Christmas' presents: a fragance for my grandma! I saw a very nice dress on a shop, but I think it was quite expensive for the kind of piece it was, so I didn't buy it...

And you? Are you buying a lot on sales? Here, sales will start the 7th of January!

By the way, I saw the Soulwax's documental Part of the weekend never dies, and now I want to party a lot! And on March, my beloved Florence and the Machine is coming to Barcelona... I can't wait for her!!

Are you going or have you been on a concert recently?
